Cattle Close Higher on Wednesday -
Live cattle posted Wednesday gains of 40 to 70 cents in the nearby contracts. Preliminary open interest was up 2,273 contracts. Cash trade has been Corn Holding Steady on Thursday Morning -Corn is trading near unchanged on Thursday AM, with front months slightly higher. Futures fell to another round of weakness on Wednesday, with Hogs Look to Square Up Ahead of Hogs & Pigs Report -Lean hog futures saw 30 to 90 cent gains across most contracts on Wednesday. The USDA national average base hog negotiated price was reported at Cotton Higher Again on Thursday AM -Cotton price action is 7 to 18 points in the green on Thursday ahead of the weekly Export Sales release. Futures closed out the Wednesday session Soybeans Higher Ahead of Export Sales Report -Soybeans are trading with contracts up 5 to 7 cents so far on Thursday. The soybean market settled the midweek session with nearbys fractionally Wheat Sneaking Out Gains to Start Thursday Trade -Wheat is showing slight strength on Thursday morning.
